Dengaku is the dish which laid groundwork for the oden.The local cooking of Toyohashi-shi is called Nameshi dengaku.They stab tofu, konjac, and local vegetables with the stick.
Then they bake it with miso and eat rice together.
It is most suitable for exhausted stomach to get completely in hot summer.
