Lidia and Gionny

L) Lidia Maria Perez Honore: from Inwood, student
R) Gionny Gomez: from Inwood, student
They are cousins, and they’ve known each other for 7 years.
They play a lot in their basement, and they run and play tag.
Because they are always together, they decided to have a very special handshake.
Gionny came up with the first part and Lidia came up with the middle and last parts.
The pinky shows their bond and they will never be separated.
The first part, the hand clapping, was inspired by the handshake of Gionny does with his father.

2人はいとこ同士で、ジョニーが生まれた７年前からの知り合い。
自分たちの地下室でよく遊ぶ。駆けっこや鬼ごっこをよくする。
２人はいつも一緒なので、特別なハンドシェイクをやろうと思った。
ジョニーが最初の部分を考え、リディアが真ん中の部分と、おしまいのところを考えた。
小指を絡めるところは、２人が一生離れないことを示している。
最初の手を叩くところは、ジョニーがお父さんとするハンドシェイクにインスパイアされた。
